We treat convicted terrorists better than we do the guy who was caught with a little too much weed. That is messed up! These same people capure, tourture and kill innocent contractors and journalists just because they are western. At least the US us trying to get information to save lives. I say keep these guy as long as possible because they want to be executed, they want to be martyrs. Terrorists are not proteced by the Geneva Convention because they are not soliders.

Ok, when the extremists in the middle east treat innocent westerners with respect, we can give the people at gitmo some repsect. For the time being, most of those men are horrible people who want us dead simply because we are western. Have you ever heard about the innocent contractors or journalists being kidnaped, tourtered and killed simply for being western? We should hold these guys instead of execution because they want to become martyrs!

if u look at the opinions of many US officials( who actually dealt with such people) on such matters you will find a common view that "most of these people were picked up just because they were at the wrong place on the wrong time"
Neither me nor anyone of us was there to witness what their crime was and passing such irresponsible judgements doesn't suit any man of reason and logic.
