totally agree. It took me listening to this version to realize how brilliant Joanna's song actually is. she really is an amazing songwriter. I prefer this version, though (perhaps because i played violin for many years)

please just stop comparing them, thank joanna for writing this and owen for playing a brilliant version. joanna newsoms way of playing and singing gives me shivers, touches my heart, owens not as much - thats the only way for me to "compare". but i like both. |
