This is my favorite classical piece, I keep listening to it over and over again. I cut the complete "Pictures at an exhibition" into 4 parts. Serg Van Gennip did a very good joob in playing this difficult piece. Content Part 1: - Promenade I - Gnomus (The Gnome) - Promenade II - Il Vecchio Castello (The Old Castle) - Promenade III - Tuileries (Dispute Between Children at Play) Enjoy !

Aah, the enviornment is perfectly suited for this. The empty church background with the light streaming in presents an amazing effect on the music itself. Overall, played very well!

I adore this piece. I prefer it on Organ, but this is nice.

I love this piece. It was Keith Emerson actually, that turned me on to it - and while I completely love the ELP version, I have a couple of different classical versions in my collection. Corny to say, but this composition 'speaks to me'.

Bellícima, fuera de este mundo , y pensar que Mussorgsky fue desdeñado por los grandes músicos Rusos de su época ,,y como Poe ,murio alcoholico y en delirium tremens .

No, he was not gay. Viktor Hartmann was his friend. It was Hartmann's exhihibition for which this piece was written.
