It takes black magic ability to turn Scarlatti into Liszt.
This makes me think of flying monkeys coming to steal me from my room and take me to the Dark Queen's lair, called forth by a secret code embedded in Martha's tinkly frenetic tones. Italianate gracefulness is not to be found here -- witchy charisma however is very present. You can imagine her playing this naked at sinister Eyes Wide Shut orgies.
