I just watched on VH1 I love the 80s a glip about Mr bean and what makes him so classically funny, and they summed it up in two major things, (asides the great acting!): 1 the blank dialogue and 2 that mr bean isn't only silly- HE'S A SILLY JERK. And you love him all the more for that.
