Right, and we should all become vegetarians because killing animals is wrong. You are living in a dream world.

its not the idea of $50 for a barrel of oil, its that Iran is going to be able to undercut every other oil producing nation on oil. And those few country's that are buying our national debt, they'll no longer feel obligated. The more we pay for oil, the more money "the powers that be" make.
jlmiller77 (August 29, 2008 at 8:53 am)
is this for real? I believed that we were at peak oil production, why else would politicians deny it? im so confused.

ATTENTION: Apparently chevron oil (corrupt American oil company) bought the rights to NiMH battery technology so they could prevent auto manufacturers from using it to build more efficient hybrid vehicles and force us to keep buying gasoline. The name of the company that produced the NiMH batteries used to be Ovionic Battery Systems, but Chevron and Texaco bought the company and changed the name to Cobasys and made it impossible for auto manufacturers to buy the batteries. Search it for yourself

here's the deal with this whole bit. despite the fact that the government and those who control it have been hiding this from the American people, we still need to be free from oil dependence. It doesn't matter where the fuck it comes from, we just need to be off it. Petroleum usage is destroying this world.

you know how screwed up the government is? take a look at the back of a loaf of sun maid raisin bread (the bag, not the bread itself)
it says that the government requires a certain number of raisins per loaf of raisin bread. WTF?

Also John Perkin's "Confessions of an Economic Hitman." By no means was/is their treachery limited to Jamaica. |
