I LOVE this show. I was young at the time it aired and my parents wouldnt watch it cause it was TOO TABOO for the time. The show covered abortion, alcohol issues etc. I think its great and Bea is awesome on this show as well as the Golden Girls.

I remember seeing Maude drinking out of a water fountain and when she finished she ran right into a woman with a bunch of grocery bags knocking her down. The woman started throwing Fritos at Maude and Maude took a gas box and made short work of prissy missy .

i LOVE MAUDE-WHICH IS THE EPISODE WHERE MAUDE AND VIVIAN TRY TO WOO A PAST HIGH SCHOOL/COLLEGE LOVE INTEREST...THEY BOTH GET
DRUNK AND MAUDE ENDS UP THROWING VIVIAN OUT...SHE CANT REMEMBER WHAT SHE WANTS TO SAY TO VIVIAN..'OOOH GO TO H...' AND SLAMS THE DOOR AS SHE VIVIAN STORMS OUT.. HILARIOUS!!!!
