No. In college that was the rule. In this game the ruled he had pitch right and the batter had to hit right. thats why he was mad.

when he was pitching for creighton in college the rule for him was batters declare which side of the plate they will hit on, and then venditte will choose accordingly, and as soon as he steps on the rubber, he has to stay with that hand.

Just found out that the Umpires ruled that the Hitter had to first declare what side he was hitting from, then the pitcher was allowed to decare what arm he was pitching with. That's why the batter what ticked. |
