Great video! I've been working with my 16 mo. old ABPT on the very same thing!
Thanks!

Thank you very much for your positive comment. It is much appreciated. If you actually teach your dog what you want it to do instead of forcing it, there is no need for training collars. Again, thanks for your comment! :)

OMG WHAT A TEAM! Great video love that you train your dog the positive way and no chains just a normal collar and leash GREAT AMBASSADOR TEAM! BAN THE DEED NOT THE BREED!!!

Just being outdoors in the middle of the road is distraction enough at that age, lots of different sounds, scents, etc. The key to a solid obedience foundation is repetition, taking it slow and not throwing your dog in situations the dog/the handler can't control and since a 4 1/2 months old dog's attention span is very small he wasn't doing too bad. It's great that your dog does well under high levels of distraction and I would love to see your work with him :) Thanks for your comment.

i jsut dont see any distractions ... i train my pitbull in a park near 2 highways and a busy road filled with people in new jersey ... this seems to me like the boondocks lol

Yes because as we ALL know there is only ONE way to train right? PLEASE no one agrees on how to train and guess what if it works it works and AMAZING this way worked for him and millions of other people.
Is YOUR dog titled in obedience? I can list forever dogs trained in this manner that are titled.

Beautiful dog, great video. Loved seeing him grow as you train him. Keep posting! : ) And this is a perfect song for the amazing sweet breed.

Clearly you do not know much about dog training at all! |
