They are not better than the Beach Boys. They are very good though.

I like that they're bringing Beach Boysish doowop-type stuff back into music. They're way better than the fucking Beach Boys too. And yes, in response to someone down below in the comments, musical performances happen ALL THE TIME on the streets of Paris.

it's was a discussion. an exchange of ideas. no argument. no big deal.

ain't no thing. it's all good. later.

I meant that this isn't how the song is usually done. In the same way that when some artists did the MTV unplugged thing, it was way badass because it was a nontraditional performance of their songs. Though I'm sure one might name drop all kinds of "influences" and superior acoustic rock bands to show how awful the unplugged performance is by comparison. Also, how many times do performances happen walking the streets of Paris? Very cool.
This is dumb. I'm sorry.

uhhh I just think this band rules and so does the video
*continue arguing*

let it drop. your response proves my point. if you think this performance is "unique" and "nontraditional" then your points of reference are purely subjective which if fine. there is nothing unique or nontraditional about this performance in my world. but who gives a fuck. whatever. like trying to describe an orange to a blind person. if you don't know the historical influences you won't understand what i'm talking about. not that it matters.
