Hey scottymac,
my apologies too.
Maybe we both need to watch our alcohol levels when posting.
Stay well and no hard feelings.
Cheers,
Bill.

My apologies, I was rather drunk, had been watching some Jerry Lee Lewis clips when he really pissed, so I guess I had taken that attitude. On the other hand, that Robin Williams shit is kind of freaky man, you must not get out much. My stomach's rumbling, think I'll fuck off and die-whatever bro.

scottymacIII:
I saw that you like G.G. Allin and another of your favourites is Flea murdering a great song, "The Needle and the Damage Done" which was written by Neil Young, and sung beautifully by him.
Proves you know fuck all, plus have no taste.
Do you, like G.G. eat shit?
I suggest you do.

"He cried when he did this at the Festival Theatre in Adelaide in '76. His wife had suicided some time before and he was thinking of her.
He did a 3hr gig; it was masterly."
That is a report on the state of J.B. when he did that gig.
There isn't an iota of self-pity in it, or me.
Don't jump to conclusions, don't fear your emotions or those of others, which it seems you do, and have a nice day, me boy.

Pick another forum to wallow in your self-pity and, please "steer" youself someplace else. Maybe you and Neil Young can disappear together, please?

i don't know how he can preforme this and not cry, because there are a couple of songs that still make me cry thinking about my late wife and she didn't commit suicide like his did

That is the power of music, mepsib; cheesy or not.

wtw88 - at the risk of me sounding incredibly cheesy, I guess that's the power of music isn't it? Thanks for the story

Sad but good.

Mepsib.
Yes, he did; but he never lost his rhythm or tone. I believe it was a great release for him: as he would have perceived it - so far away from home.
We could just see the tears streaming down his face.
It was one of the great shows I've attended.
He was singing with smoothness and strength after 3 hrs.
Cheers. |
