Actually, she's American. Can you imagine how tired people like Cheryl get of being asked "so, you're Filipino, right?"
Think how stupid it would be to ask a person with the last name "Steinberg", who was born in the U.S., "So, you're German, right?"
What does a person have to do to be recognized as American? Do they have to have white skin and blue eyes? This is so annoying! Does this bother anybody else?
