OK..I've just read the book and I'm watching this just because of Richard...I NEVER watch films taken from books because I just picture things out in my own way and I don't like to see them pictured out differently..anyway,I thought Mrs Hale was fatter, and, anyway, in the book, she wasn't in London for Edith's marriage (mistake1) and the tone of Lennox's proposal (and later refusal)was completely different in the novel (mistake2)anyway the setting is perfect...that's all! let's go on and see...

hey this the first time i'm watching this, i became addicted to period dramas after i watched pride and prejudice(both version, the 1995 version is the best)i love lost in austen they should do a LOST IN GASKELL sometime soon. watching the people cough make me want to reach for my lemsip.
