by the way the movie drumline is almost exactly like the real thing if you march in a southern groove style band like A&T and morris brown. I march corps style so I only know how to march like cavaliers and cadets and devils, but my brother marches southern so thats how I know.

Some people claim that percussion isn't the Cav's strong spot, but that's mostly people who just watch lines in the lot. They spend (or at least used to...haven't been keeping up this summer) lots of time rehearsing on the field with the winds, when other lines get to rehearse on concrete for hours

I'm the marching band at my high school, and we have a wind section, but I play alot more than just flute, in fact I'm marching Mello this year :\ Sarcasm is nice when you have all the facts.....I promise. |
