I would disagreee. I call Metallica the Lars and James show. These two do all the musical creativity, although James has a larger hand with the lyrics. Kirk is a little sook that does what he is told. Watch any of the documentarys. He is in hardly any of the credits for the songs (this is because he doesn't do anything). Yeah he is a good guitarist, but that's all.

read the writers credits...kirk barely writes for the band he is only a member of... he is a guitar player...only... this is James and Lars' band! it is no secret...but here is a secret...there is a secret metallica show in the bay area soon...when? where?

trujillo is a great bass player.. his suicidal ind infectious work is amazing.. i miss his style. he is smothered being in metallica. he is a funk bass player, a slapper. even with ozzy he was held back...but did add his own thump style when in Ozzy!

hello, KIRK is a member of metallica. he joined so early on that his presence is ..... well the band cannot function without him. james IS metallica, but hetfield and hammett is the best combo since lennon and mccartney. there would not be a real metallica without hammett. however, the others are indispensable. especially the BASS player , obviously. |
