The scratcher was okay. Not really a problem. The trap player just held time on the high-hat to keep everybody else together so they wouldn't get lost. But like so many melodic instrument players from the West, this scratcher had a poor to average time sense. He wasn't sub-dividing the time properly and slid out a few times. He is playing with the most highly regarded tabla player in the entire world!

I apreciated the post and I believe that the skratcher, although they are mic'd wrong, knows the language well and is fairly fluid, yet it was a little unexpected all in all I love it though, thanx
