I'm so happy, i got a £4500 Roland TD10 electric drum kit for FREE :) For america £4500 is $8000-9000
I know, its crazy :s I'm a beginner and started about 2 days ago but everyone says i've got rhythm, and im only 12, so i've got plenty of time to practice :D

$1000 i dont think so if your an absolute beginner then go to wal-mart and pick up a 150 doller first-act kit its small, but it was my first kit and lasted me about 2 years.
and it should last you a while to as long as you care about it and dont hit the living.... out of it i have it still i just dont play it
because i got a new mapex kit which was around 500 so DONT try to spend $1000 on a pearl kit
i hope this helps
