Which is your favorite picture? Mine is the one of Bill & Chelsea Clinton, Dawn's is the butterfly picture. Dawn played this song for me after watching the movie. I liked it so much I had to make this video. Also, many thanks to spacestevie for the track. Dawn says: "It is so touching to see so much love in these fathers and daughters faces." Trivia: Father and Daughter was originally released as a single. It is a notable addition to the Simon anthology mainly due to the fact that the song was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Song. Written for the children's animated film The Wild Thornberrys Movie, it was released in 2002. The song also appeared on the movie soundtrack album and again on Simon's 2006 release, Surprise. my mom and dad arent together anymore but i usedto be his little girl and i will never forget when i was a child him holding me tight and telling me how much he loved me and how i was special little girl.... i miss my dad alot and i probably never see him again but i wiah i could tell him how much i miss and love him...

I love my daddy, too! I love my Mom, as well, but my Dad and I just are much more similar and get along better than my Mom and I. This song and video made me cry! Too sweet! My favorite picture is either the butterfly one. The Clinton/Chelsea one is good, too, though.
