Or that it is all just a novel/ film...Fine, you dodn't like it but there are plenty of people who do and they are just as entitled to their opinions. Don't like it, don't watch it.

well, i watched it a year ago.... WOW, it was that bad that i didn't remember the ending! i just remember at the end being like "oh please...give me a break. this is beyond depressingly sappy"
whatever, even with that ending it still ended tragically, and just because she wrote a friggin novel doesn't change the fact that they are both DEAD.

Have you not watched the end? She gives them their happiness in the book she took from them in life. She says herself, what hope or satisfaction could a reader get from the tragic ending so she changes it in her novel. So it seems you judge what you do not know...

seeing as it did have "2", I guess you're just one of those people that likes movies that aren't realistic. movies that sugarcoat things and provide false hope and fairy-tale endings. it's okay. we all have our different tastes. I just love this movie - you don't. calling me an idiot was immature and pointless.

do not judge what you do not know, you self-righteous idiot. if you did know me, you would know that i like ALL film genres--drama, action, comedy, romance, anything. so i'm no stranger to sad movies. but usually, in GOOD sad movies, there is one or both of these things:
1. a glimmer of hope or happiness at the end that makes it bittersweet and ties the movie together
OR 2. a flowing and beautiful script that truly doesn't even need a happy ending--it just needs to provoke emotion.
2.

just because you don't have the maturity to appreciate things that aren't happy doesn't mean it isn't a masterpiece. it was a fantastic movie and it's sad that you don't have the mind to appreciate it.

my problem is it's too sad and cruel and i hated it. something that makes you feel like shit is bad, and not a masterpiece. |
