My friend you expect Ali to have loved his country in those very hostile years,where black people were being lynched in the southern states. There was hotels and restaurants that would'nt accept black people as customers. They had inferior healthcare and education, lower payed jobs, hench the civil rights movments. Fight in the east for what ?

This man is a racist, and the fact he is considered a brave man for "standing up to the government" and not fighting in Vietnam, whilst all those who accepted the draft are considered scum and were spat at, is an absolute joke. Still the best boxer to have ever lived, and perhaps the best athlete, and most charismatic.

Well he went 3 years without any training at all and still beat the best...a god amongst men sounds about right to me. While 99% of other fighters careers would of been over, Ali isn't any other fighter.

frisbyrb5 you are very boring... you talk of as if you know everything about boxing and its quite amusing that you complain about ali's ego. also, the fact that there is still all this debate and interest about ali, while there isnt for most other boxers, would suggest that he is probably the greatest.
