I Love this song! For me, it represents everyone of us who strugle every day to be the person that those who depend on us, need and expect us to be! Everyone, be it Father, Mother, Husband, Wife, Son, Daughter, Friend, has draped that "Phoney Red Sheet" over their shoulders for the sake of supporting and helping others, and sometimes, "It's Not Easy"!

Im so sorry for both of you. My moms dad died when she was 14. Ive never met him. And one of my best friends moved across the country after her dad died of cancer.

I'm sorry to hear about your grandpas. My best friend died in March, 2 days before my birthday. I kept playing this song over and over when he passed.
