Proof, as if you needed any, that nobody can ever touch Zeppelin. Led now and forever more.

i came to earth in 1990 and like in 1970 and its sad.
buuuuttttttt.....there are plenty of fantastic modern bands and artists that rock as hard and original as Zep did. case in point: Jack White...that guy is the closest thing we have to Led-Zeppelin nowadays.

Believe it or not, back in the 1970's me & my friends knew that when we were listening to Led Zeppelin, indeed, we were listening to the pinnacle of achievement, the zenith, the highest form of rock & roll THEN & NOW & FOREVER BE. They could literally blow the top off any roofed stadium they played. No 80's, 90's, or 2000's band could ever come close to the great Led Zeppelin. Now get out of here, go play tiddly winks or somethin'...you heard me...now.

Sure, it's true, I confess: I was a teenager throughout the 1970's; I listened to Led Zeppelin with great appreciation for their vibe & hard pounding rhythm, most masterfully performed I might add; the heart of my confession is that neither myself nor my friends could ever name one of the band members names; we were told that noone was supposed to know or care to know their names...it was sufficient to just know it was Led Zeppelin...and supposedly that's the way the band wanted it. led z BEST.

Chicago and If you leave me now. It's a popular myth that the lead singer shot himself. I actually scanned his brain and made him shoot himself because I had to watch all the other guys having all the fun time after time. Sorry but it was either him or me.

You're right. Vinyl records and large sleeves built a truly different and more sensual relationship with the music (but a fading one, as scratches and time passed by !:) |
