Yeah I doubt they're making fun of these bands, because they dressed like Hendrix and Nirvana, and they played with and liked Nirvana, and their name Red Hot Chili Peppers came from a Jimi Hendrix Song. Plus they always covered Hendrix's song Fire. They're showing the different progressions of popular rock music, and how it influenced them to become what they are now.

I'm pretty sure they're going for nirvana there...why's it that big of a deal? They make fun of other bands too...u ever think they're like giving a tribute to them and others?
