You may want to look at using an old computer as a slave soft synth and plugin machine in the studio, using tools like Bidule from Plogue, Console, and Forte from BrainSpawn, as well as FX Teleport from FX-max. The idea looks swell to me.

Theo remindes me of Vladislav Delay but from Detroit,,, They both use real sounds and put them in the beat or ambience.jazz background Vlad has Theo not sure.
