My point is that he is criticizing the female reporter and talking about how some day she will have a young child who will come home crying because he was picked on - and THAT'S his analogy to THIS situation. It's a stupid analogy. I'll bet the player who this coach is defending was probably watching this news conference and saying, "Coach - SHUT UP! You're only making it worse." The coach made a local issue into a NATIONAL issue, embarrassing the kid even further.

I think he was faking it, from the way he talks it looks like he was hamming it up.

What amazes me is that, in spite of all his anger, he managed not to utter a single swear word.

Comparing a heart-broken little boy who got picked last in a neighborhood pickup game to one of these full-ride, pampered college athletes is hardly valid. I'm not saying the kid deserved the criticism, I'm just saying that this coach is making a mountain of what would have remained a mole hill had HE kept his mouth shut.

there is nothing more entertaining than an angry coach. And even better, he is right.....

This is the only reason anyone has cared about OSU in in....well...ever. There is only one college football team in Oklahoma. |
