Wow!! The civil rights movement. I like this video. Just reminds me that we as black people have only really had rights for about 4 decades. This is the harsh reality about these "great United States". Can't keep us down though, no matter how hard you try. One Love.....................

Well a friend played this song in memory of my baby (20yrs) brothers death...7/3/08...and I just broke down because it really opened up so many emotions...raamah's soul reminded me of this songs lyrics!!!

i really dont get why americans hate the middle east, seeing as their massiah is from the middle east? it really does show their ignorace (by the i realise its not all americans, but it is the vast majourity of them)

I agree nefer1234, her voice is unmatched by anyone. That voice is neither feminine nor masculine, but the song is only profound in my belief when it is sung by Nina Simone. It almost becomes a woman's anthem. |
