well.. you've known him for a minute.. but don't question how long I've known him too. I've known him for over a decade, since Joe's 'Don't Wanna Be a Playa' in 98.
Before a beat makes it to mainstream media, it goes through a lot of critics in form of label execs, managers, and A&Rs. If the beat doesn't meet their expectation, it gets cut.
Now you might not like it.. it might be wack to you, but there are millions of people who think otherwise.

he wasn't bobbing his head to the unfinished track.. it was just edited to make it look like that. When Avant was in the booth, the track was completed, lyrics were written, and vocals were already arranged. He was ready to lay his vocals (how the hell he gon' lay vocals with darkchild still making beat, uh?)

i thought i was the only one thinking that lol...he was bobbin is head like "damn, that beat is ok...but im hoping he is goin to add more to this beat...im hoping he is goin to add more to this track...wait, i think he is actually finished making the track...ahhhh crap"...it sounds like darkchild was goin for that sample effect, but there needs to be more added to it...his tracks are usually very melodic, so i doubt that this is not a completed track...i hope lol
