Olmert is narrow minded. the tyrants in israel are zionists they are not jewish they are zionists.. judaism does not teach hatred. arabs were there first his historical knowledge is bias and flawed. the situation in Israel is like putting mike tyson in the ring with amir khan and then blaming khan for striking back. the palestine just want to live in peace.

The argument being made by Olmert about the right of return makes no sense. The ethnic character of Israel as a Jewish state is based on the dispossession of Palestinians in the same sense that the U.S. or Canada is based on the dispossession of Indians. You can't negate the rights of human beings because you've decided that you would like to live in a more ethnically homogenized state.
I agree that Charlie Rose did a crap job. He didn't really challenge Olmert enough.

For the first time I'm a bit disappointed with Charlie. He's interviewing the guy. Regardless of whether he agrees with him, I want to hear what he has to say. He spent less time interrupting Ahmadinejad.

Fine with me. But you have to admit that he made some good points about the arabs strategy. I think it's pathetic by others in the world to feel sorry all the time for the "poor & innocent" palestinians and libanesians blablabla.. like their civilian people don't take lethal actions on their own, and it's not a big deal when israelis are getting bombed in the middle of the city everyday because of it. You do remember the 2006 war? When the world really felt for the injured Libanon. Pathetic.

Those in the world who do not realize, will never realize. Israel's game has to end. There will be no peace with a neighbor "palestinian" state, specially one carved out of Israel's own territory -- 1967 liberated land included.
The "painful decisions" are a fraud. Olmert has to end the charade or call it quits, now! |
