DM rules, and record stores allways fuck up where they put the cds, they put my chemical romance in metal in the record store i go to i was like "seriously wtf i aint comin here again"

utter fail. have you even listened to the majority of dream theater? go listen to the stuff off Images and Words and tell me they want to be like Metallica. go listen to the stuff off Octavarium and tell me they want to be like Metallica. As a matter of fact, go listen to 99% of their songs and tell me they want to be like Metallica. dream theater are PROGRESSIVE METAL. they are not Metallica wannabe's, how can they be when Metallica are a THRASH METAL band.

im sorry , but i think St. Anger songs are stronger than the death magnetic. anyone else think so? IM SO SICK OF HEARING ABOUT THE PRODUCTION, if the songs are good the songs are good!!!!! this is bullshit. load and reload are both good records. stop comparing everything they do to Master of Puppets for fuck sake. and another thing, dream theatre are metallica wannabes. this guy's opinion is no more valid than an usher at your local movie theater

Oh, don't get me wrong, I love the new album. However, longer songs? The Outlaw Torn is over 8 minutes and so is Where the Wild Things Are ect. I dont dislike any of there albums but as a long term fan I for some reason couldnt get into most of the songs in St. Anger. Lyrically its great James got out a lot of built up emotion but musically you can't even tell there are two guitarists. The Unamed Feeling is the only song I really liked a lot.

There's not a metal section ROFL!

metallicas new cd sucks ass. they arent even close to metal anymore. when i bought it, it was in the "pop" section of the record store. that says it all right there

I would have to agree with him, sorry man. I like load and reload but st. anger took the approach of what made metallica so great (master of puppets, and justice, ride the lighting, etc.) and to go back into the direction of longer songs, aggresiveness, less polishing, thats what metallica is about. I think thats all mike is really trying to say. They are finally going back to that and I think thats awesome.

St. Anger over Load and ReLoad????????? wtf???? I can't believe he said that... The Outlaw Torn, Bleeding Me, Moma Said, Devil's Dance, Fuel, The Memory Remains, Fixxxer, Ect.
