I'me not a scholar too , but I have a mind , if something is wrong then I won't do it even if it's halal , hearing music (for the right reasons , or even to spend time isn't haram imo , but when it speaks of/even get close of haram , then it's the type of music that you don't wanna get near...
again I'm not a scholar...not even close lol

i agree. music is a tool. use it wisely. if u use it to spread religious awareness or for a good cause (like this) i dont think it is haraam. However, other music, which has no purpose, is haraam. I am not a scholar, so please forgive me if i am wrong.

I don't think music is haram , I've read the qu'ran and found nothing about it , all I've seen is el sahaba talking , with respect ofc , but I don't take their talking as qu'ran , I'm sunah , and though I take Al hadeeth seriusly , but there's no way to prove that he realy said anything of it , some are proven , and some aren't , so excuse me for keeping hearing music (hearing not watching)
