thats why parents what to home school there children to teach them the truth about there real history. Because the history they are teaching now is bullshit lies. Judging by the content of the segment and some of the viewers' comments, it became clear that the story was grossly incomplete and misleading. I love democracy now. I watch the entire program every day, but this is characteristic of the problem I have at times with the broadcast. There is obviously more to the story. As a former teacher in the south bronx and south boston, I can assure you that malcolm x and langston hughes are ubiquitously taught -thats a non-issue. I wonder what was left out.

Wait.. so what exactly was "Afrocentric" about the teacher's curriculum? Afrocentrism has a meaning. Teaching Malcolm X is not "Afrocentric" at all. Ridiculous! The Arizona school system wants to keep out children ignorant.

She should have taught her students that the U.S. is the greatest country in the world, absolutely unrestricted markets are inherently good, the police are wonderful, Saddam Hussein personally flew a jet into the WTC, war is peace, up is down, night is day. Then her contract would have been renewed. But we can't have ideology in the classroom!

Homeschoolers pay twice. They pay taxes for schools, and they pay to keep their homeschooling at a decent caliber. We need to change the system we have.
