a few years ago, two parents went out for dinner. A few hours later, the babysitter was calling to ask if she could cover up the clown statue in the kids' room, the father said,"Take the kids and get out of the house. We'll call the police, we don't have a clown statue." The "clown statue" is really a killer that escaped from jail. If you don't post this letter on to 10 videos tonight, the clown will be in your bed at 3:00 am with a chainsaw in his hand;sorry i didnt want that happening to me

Give him the Oscar! He's the perfect Joker!

By the way, if anything, Heath Ledger deserves an Oscar or two more than anyone.
Just because this performance was just stunning, I haven't seen anything like this for a long time.
At first I wasn't sure what to think of the whole style of these newer films, but it turned out amazing.
And the Joker that Heath had created is just a genius performance, it's impressive, believable... just... an example for any actor.
Not to say anything bad about the rest of the cast, that's apart from this.

Very true.
I personally might be good at creating/directing or whatever making up a scene that is good.
However, I could not act everything I make up with my fantasy, which is only logical.
Also, it's quite true that The Joker drowned out Batman quite a bit.
The Joker got a LOT of screen-time and a couple of hours ago in the cinema I felt like I was pretty much following The Joker rather than Batman.
But it's cool the way they kind of evened out the characters, follow them both.

its no doubt the he set the new bar for being the best joker, for the longest time the guy who did the voice for joker during the animated series was my favorite. but his performance blew that out of the water like a fish in a barrel with an elephant gun! to all those who believe he should get it just for him dieing, i want to see you play a role like that and make it feel like he could kill you at any notice, and then get away with it!

Even if he didn't die, it is definitely an award-winning performance. It was just so....great! If i hadn't already known that it was Heath Ledger playing the Joker I wouldn't have been able to tell. That's how good his performance was. And that's what makes a brilliant performance. When you see the character and not the actor.

I dunno, you can have a good director and a good script, but it's all meaningless if you can't act. In my opinion, Heath Ledger MADE that movie, as it his character seemed to drown out even Batman. |
