Which concerto is it that starts, at least I think it starts...A on the Estring then down to a G# then A then G# then A then G#....Is that a Brahms?

I hate soloists who stare at the orchestra when the solo isn't playing... wtf? trying to pressure the orchestra or something?

I don't like his style, I perfer Vengerov's style and tensions and hesitations that he places. This sounds good, but I don't want to listen to it this way again...

It is very good. Agreed! But I've heard him live a couple of times and his tone is sounds as dry as a prune. Quite different than his teacher. King David!!!

Kremer's interpretations are all interesting/different in a very good way.

this is probably the best violin opening of this concerto. his movements, his tones, everything!! breathtaking!
