"Who is this loser? and what was wrong with the 70s?" Well, the 1970's was known for extensive government regulations on business. The regulations were so tight that it destroyed the profit motive. In other words, businesses no longer had incentive to expand and in order to stay in business they had to lay off workers and raise prices. This led to stagnation and inflation. His point was that democrats will increase government involvement in business which would bring back the 70's.

What a great way to promote cooperation between parties to help America!

Is this a fillibuster? My god what a waste of the time of our highly paid government representatives! Unless this is a fillibuster (in other words, a deliberate attempt to waste time for strategic purposes such as delaying a vote etc.) then this person has just demonstrated that he is not fit to hold his post. There is no fact here - there is no attempt at logic or reason. I don't care which party he calls home - if I were in his district I would vote against him on principle.

Did you draw this conclusion yourself, or did your precious party leaders tell you this? Tell me exactly how he reaps the benefits of the working class. Explain to me this process.

Rush Limbaugh couldn't do better himself. Score! "I think Obama will bring change, and change us, so we can look towards the future" future= Jimmy Carter's Era

Gotta love the fat lazy slobs known as democrats in this country. People with zero work ethic that reap the benefits of the working class. Usually libertarians and conservatives. This man is a hero for all americans.
