This song gives me goosebumps. It`s so sad and true. Bruce is the man. He`s genius. I respect him so much and I`m proud that I listen to his music. The ghost of Tom Joad is really heartfelt, beautiful piece of music. Happy that I know this song.

Rage against the machine did a cool cover of this song but Bruce Springsteen is and always will be The King.

This is Bruce Springsteen's most underrated song. It has so much meaning and the Grapes of Wrath was a great piece of literature. The spirit of Tom Joad is what we all need during these tough times.

i love this song. I first heard it today in my English class. I have AP/IB English and we had to read The Grapes of Wrath over the summer. We've been talking about the book and having test on it. When I heard this song, i fell in love with it. This is my 20th time listening to it. I'm gonna put it on my ipod now.
